 Nestled
in the gently rolling hills of Lake Mary Timacuan is a Ron Garl designed
course. The front nine is reminiscent of a Scottish links-style course,
with wide open fairways, rolling hills and deep bunkers. Watch the wind
and keep it low!
Waste bunkers garnish the back and water comes into play on several
holes. In a poll, GolfWeek Magazine ranked Timacuan the 14th best course
in the state. Bobby Weed renovated the course in 1996. The course is located
just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando and winds through beautiful lakes
and wooded areas.
Hole No. 2 is rated as "most challenging in Central Florida".
